Compact copolyester and glycol sheet
PET-G UV sheets are compact, thermoplastic polyester sheets characterised by high impact resistance, good reaction to
combustion, and good resistance to weathering.
The high performances of the material are confirmed by a 10-year guarantee on mechanical and optical properties.
PET-G UV sheets are quickly thermoformed, with low energy consumption and in extreme deep drawing conditions, and the forms are easy to reproduce and do not require pre-drying.
PET-G UV sheets are available in transparent version offering outstanding transparency and great brightness, or in Opal 30 white version with
good light diffusion and a pleasant hue.
BENEFITS OFFERED BY SHEETS
- Good resistance to weathering
- Very good thermoformability
- Good impact resistance
- Good rating thanks to their fire reaction properties
APPLICATIONS
PET-G UV is the ideal material for all protective glass types installed outdoors, displays, point of sale displays, advertising boards, vending machines, poster framing, and backlit images.

Other sizes are supplied upon request and/or based on minimum order volumes.
WORKING TEMPERATURE
The maximum working temperature without load is approx. +65 °C.
THERMOPLASTICITY
Thanks to outstanding properties such as fluidity and moulded-in detail reproducibility, PET-G UV sheets can be thermoformed at low temperatures without the need for pre-drying.
Thanks to their poor specific thermal capacity, PET-G UV sheets can be thermoformed with low energy consumption, including when complex 3D forms have to be manufactured.
SUITABLE FOR FOODSTUFFS
PET-G UV sheets are not suitable for applications in contact with foodstuffs.
