Compact copolyester and glycol sheet
PET-G sheets are compact, thermoplastic copolyester sheets.
These sheets are characterised by high impact resistance and good reaction to combustion; they are suitable for use
with foodstuffs and are fully recyclable.
PE-G sheets are available in transparent high brightness version or in transparent smoked bronze hue.
BENEFITS OFFERED BY SHEETS
- Outstanding thermoformability
- Good impact resistance
- Suitable for foodstuffs
- Good rating thanks to their fire reaction properties
APPLICATIONS
PET-G is the ideal product for the following uses: displays, price tags, shelf dividers, signs, and advertising
lettering, food containers and trays, flat and shaped machinery guarding, and space separator panels.
PET-G sheets are quickly thermoformed, with low energy consumption and in extreme deep drawing conditions.
Production times are short and the forms are easy to reproduce and do not require pre-drying.
Sheets can be silk-screened, printed in 3D and machined with ease.

AVAILABLE SIZES
Transparent PET-G sheets are available in thickness from 0.5 mm to 10 mm and in the following sizes:
- 1250x2050 mm, in 0.5 and 0.75 thickness;
- 2050x3050 mm.
Other colours and sizes are supplied upon request and/or based on minimum order volumes.
WORKING TEMPERATURE
The maximum working temperature without load is approx. +65 °C.
THERMOPLASTICITY
Thanks to outstanding properties such as fluidity and moulded-in detail reproducibility, PET-G sheets can be thermoformed at low temperatures without the need for pre-drying.
Thanks to its poor specific thermal capacity, PET-G can be thermoformed with low energy consumption.
SUITABLE FOR CONTACT WITH FOODSTUFFS
Transparent and smoked bronze PET-G sheets can be used for applications in contact with foodstuffs.
