This PE-UHMW material with an extremely high polymerization degree contains an additive, which can be identified by metal detectors and does not have a significant impact on the intrinsic properties of PE-UHMW.

TIVAR MD has excellent toughness and impact strength, and better wear and abrasion resistance than TIVAR 1000; its formulation also makes it suitable for contact with foodstuff.

TIVAR MD is specifically designed for use in food processing and packaging where it can be easily tracked by conventional metal detector systems installed to identify potential contamination of foodstuff.
