PLZ 45 is compliant with the FDA standards concerning contact with food, ref. 21CFR177.1520.
It also meets the requirements laid down in Article 2 of Directive 90/128/EEC relating to plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs (total migration, 10 days at 40 °C, aqueous based and olive oil based food simulants).
It complies with standard OEKO-TEX 100 (contact with human skin).
Contact with drinking water
PLZ 45 is compliant with standard BS6920 1988/90 (suitability of non-metallic products for use in contact with water intended for human consumption).
