Its resistance to deformation under load is nine times greater than virgin PTFE (tested in compliance with ASTM D 621)
Compressive stress 14 (MPa at 50 °C).
The coefficient of linear thermal expansion is very close to the values of aluminium and it is equal to 1/5 the virgin PTFE.
It is remarkably harder than virgin PTFE and offers enhanced resistance to wear and low friction.
It also does not have an abrasive effect on the portion of materials it comes into contact with.
