    Cotton- and phenolic resin-based laminates

Fabric bakelite sheets are manufactured in thickness ranges from 0.5 to 150 mm and are available in the following sizes: 1220x1220 mm, 1220x2200
mm, 1220x2440 mm, 1050x2050 mm. They come in insulation class E (120°C).

If compared to paper bakelite, fabric bakelite has definitely higher mechanical properties, although its dielectric
    performances are not equally good.
Sheets are easy to cut at low thickness, i.e. up to 3 mm.

An additional quality of fabric bakelite is its satisfactory self-lubricating property.
Low thickness versions of the product may, for instance, be used for the manufacture of washers for small electric motors, wear washers for motor shafts, and highly flexure-stressed insulating flexible strips.

Higher thickness products are used for the production of vanes for centrifugal vacuum pumps, gaskets for metal pipe connection, sealing rings for pistons in hydraulic systems, clutch discs, bushings, sliding rails, and rolling mill tables.

The most prestigious application is for the production of resistant, self-lubricating and more importantly low noise gears.
Fabric bakelite can also be used to manufacture pipes and rods - the latter both milled from a sheet and rolled.
