Cords consist of a central fibre core or of strips of mats (ceramic, silica, glass, etc.) and an outer coarse or fine braided mesh of different yarns. 

Cords are therefore softer, lighter and cheaper than traditional braids.

Two or more outer braids are available as option for enhanced mechanical strength.

Used for: thermal insulation and protection of hoses and plants against heat; gaskets for doors in ovens and boilers; gaskets for trolleys in tunnel ovens.

Product range: in round cross-sections with coarse mesh; in round, square and rectangular cross-sections, 12 to 100 mm in size, with fine mesh.
